Asheville, NC (September 12, 2002) Located in the newly-restored Grove Arcade (National Register of Historic Places.) in the center of downtown Asheville, Kamm's Custard is one of the pioneer retailers to open up shop there. Jeff Dalton and Robin Elliot with Rowhouse Architects were instrumental in the design and layout of the Kamm's space in the Arcade. Kamm's is very excited about being the first retail shop in the Grove Arcade. The shop opened on August 15, 2002 sharing its wonderful creamy and satiny desert for all of Asheville and its many visitors.

Frozen Custard, the ultimate fresh made frozen taste sensation, was first served in the early 1900's in Coney Island, New York and has been delighting customers around the country ever since. Using only the highest quality butter, cream and egg yolks (providing a fuller & richer taste), Kamm's Frozen Custard literally explodes with flavor and melts in your mouth. What makes Kamm's Custard unique is its smooth, satiny consistency and freshness and the customer's ability to choose from over 35 mix-ins and flavors to personalize the custard. Kamm's Custard is made fresh daily and will be offered in a variety of flavors including vanilla, chocolate and weekly themed flavors.

Kamm's Frozen Custard can be enjoyed in a cup, cone, sundae or Smash. A Smash is Kamm's specialty featuring frozen custard blended with over 30 choices of delicious "mix-ins" including chocolate fudge, caramel, coconut, candies, mixed nuts, praline pecans, coffee flavor and many more. Kamm's fanciful specialty combinations include Caramel Apple, Southern Comfort, and Cherry Cordial to name only a few.
